Spaghetti and Jo's Rosemary Bread

I have moved to trying out freezer cooking.  So tonight's dinner is a simple one.  Crock pot spaghetti and Jo's Rosemary Bread.

For the Spaghetti, I cooked up 5 lb of meat.  2 of the lb were frozen to make Taco meat.  The other 3 were divided to make 3 spaghetti sauce.

Spaghetti Sauce (*3)
3 lb ground beef, browned
3 sweet onions
6 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 1/2 lb Summer Squash
1 1/2 lb Zucchini
3 lb carrots
3 jars of sauce

Wash all veggies.  I put everything thought the food processor on grate.  If you don't have a processor, then you will need to hand grate everything.  Divide the veggies in to Three Gallon Freezer bags.

Add one lb of beef per bag.  Label the sauce for spaghetti, so you remember and don't use it for something else.  Lay flat in freezer till frozen.

The night before you want to eat it, pull it out of the freezer and place in fridge.

Place the veggies and meat in the crock pot.  Add one jar or homemade sauce on top.  Cook on low all day or high half a day.

Three hours before dinner, make Jo's rosemary Bread.  I found the recipe on allrecipes.com.  I did alter it and used fresh garden herbs.  It comes out so wonderful.

Eggs, Biscuits, and Fruit

Tonight's dinner is a simple one. Wed night have to be cause we have to rush out to church by 5:15. Most of the time, the girls are eating dinner in the car on the way up there.

Oh, and coming soon will be some reviews of Lawry's seasoning. I signed up to test out some of their products. They sent me Taco seasoning, Southwest Chicken Skillet, Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala, and 4 oz of Seasoning Salt. At least one will be on the menu for next week.

But, back to tonight. I am just scrambling up some eggs. I also found a biscuit recipe that does not use butter or shortening, cause I am out of both. It uses oil. So that will be interesting to try.

Chili w/ corn bread topping

I had made some Chili a while back and froze the extra. After lunch, I pulled it out and let it soak in some water to defrost. Once it was not a block of ice, I put it in the fridge. Another option is 3 or 4 cans of Chili.

To make dinner tonight, I have a corn bread mix and the chili. Heat the oven to 350. I spray a square 8*8 pan. Then pour in the chili. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix the corn bread according to the package directions. Then pour it over the chili. Bake about 30 min and check the middle with a tooth pick.

I also have some broccoli to steam for a nice veg.

Slow Cooker Chicken

Dinner tonight is Slow Cooker Chicken and vegetables, Jo's Rosemary bread, and mashed potatoes.

For the chicken, line your slow cooker with a Reynolds Slow Cooker liner. Makes clean up so easy. Then I put in 1 or 2 onions cut in 6ths. Then add a baby carrots. Put the chicken in and then top with dry Onion Soup Mix. Put it in the crock pot on low all day.

For the bread, go to all recipes .com and you will find it. I use fresh rosemary in it. It take 4 hours to bake in my bread machine.

For the potatoes, I just peal and boil them. add butter, milk, cheese and a little seasoning salt.
